Dr. Erin Martinez isn’t just the founder of Choice Pharmacy, she’s the heart of it. With a rare blend of clinical excellence and human connection, Erin has built a pharmacy where patients feel seen, heard, and supported at every step of their care. After earning her Doctor of Pharmacy and completing two years of post-doctoral residency training at Johns Hopkins Hospital and UMMC, Erin returned to community practice with a clear mission: deliver hospital-grade care without the red tape. Her advanced training in Infectious Disease, leadership in health promotion, and passion for collaborative care are the foundation of how Choice Pharmacy operates today.
But what truly sets Erin apart isn’t just her credentials, it’s how she shows up. Patients describe her as “the kind of pharmacist you don’t find anymore”, someone who answers calls directly, solves problems fast, and remembers not just your medication list, but your story. She’s known to personally help patients navigate insurance issues, simplify regimens for seniors, follow up on complex cases, and offer thoughtful, real-time advice when it matters most.
Erin’s leadership goes beyond the pharmacy walls. She presents on advanced drug therapies, builds communication bridges with local providers, and advocates fiercely for patients who feel lost in the system. Ricardo (Ric) Martinez
With more than 36 years of experience in pharmacy and retail management, Ricardo “Ric” Martinez brings seasoned leadership and a deep operational focus to Choice Pharmacy. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Business Management, Industrial Technology, and Office Business Technology.
Ric’s career spans multiple national and regional pharmacy chains, where he led high-performing teams and drove operational efficiency at scale. His leadership style is no-nonsense yet people-first, rooted in empowering employees to take ownership, grow in their roles, and consistently deliver outstanding service.
Behind the scenes, Ric is the reason Choice Pharmacy runs with precision. From inventory control and product sourcing to customer experience and store presentation, he ensures that everything is clean, fast, fresh, and built to compete with large national chains. He’s especially known for creating an environment where team members feel valued, motivated, and proud of what they deliver every day.
